Frequently Asked Questions

Is lunch provided?

  • No. Due to dietary variations, we ask all parents to send their new Babysitter with their own nut-free snacks and lunch.

What should they bring?

  • It would be wonderful if they could bring a doll or stuffed animal large enough to diaper. We do have some dolls available, but some new Babysitters prefer their own.

  • Pen and paper so they can take notes. AHASTI will provide all other items.

Do they get issued a certification card?

  • Yes. We will need a unique email address for each participant, so they will have their own portal to access their records with the Canadian Red Cross.
