Youth Leader Recertification

This recertification is for current Youth Leader Instructors. For Red Cross First Aid Instructors, certification for Youth Leader will remain current as long as their other CRC Instructor certifications are current.

Prerequisites: 

• Red Cross Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Level C certification or equivalent 

• Current Youth Leader certification 

Certification: 

• Valid for three years 

• Youth Leaders are required to maintain current Standard First Aid & CPR/AED C 

certification (if not a Canadian Red Cross First Aid Instructor) 

• Candidates are not required to purchase materials from original certification course unless the program has been revised.
