About the Course
Instructor Candidates who have completed Steps 1 through 4 of the First Aid Instructor Pathway with another training provider and are now seeking to complete their in-class teaching experience with an experienced instructor are welcome to finish their journey with AHASTI.
Completed steps 1, 2, 3 and the online step 4 of the Instructor Development Pathway at another Provider
Must have a full set of lesson plans for the Intermediate/Standard First Aid with CPR level C/AED course.
AHASTI will connect instructor candidates with an AHASTI Teach Experience Supervisor and assign teaching topics.
Instructor candidates must attend both days of the course.
Teach Experience cancellations or no shows will be required to register for a new oppotunity and pay fees again.
* Completion paperwork will be completed by the Teach Experience Instructor and given back to the instructor candidate. It will be the instructor candidates responsiblity to forward to their original Provider and/or Red Cross for completion.
